About

Becky is a writer, mum to two adult children, and nature lover. Living in a small village in the heart of the South Staffordshire countryside, with her partner and miniature schnauzer, she finds plenty of opportunities to commune with creation. In fact, country walks are often the spark that lights the flame of creativity. That, and watching true crime documentaries! Join her as she juggles work, family, writing, and everyday life, while trying to stay sane with a million thoughts and ideas running through her menopausal brain. Will she manage to finish the cosy murder-mystery novel she’s writing before she gets her free bus pass? Or even before her children get theirs? No one knows, but she’ll have fun trying!

After six years of studying alongside mostly full-time employment, Becky achieved a Batchelor of Arts (Honours) in Art and Humanities (Creative Writing) with First Class Honours in 2024. She enjoys writing short stories and flash fiction, already having one published by Myslexia, along with nature-inspired devotionals and poetry about just about anything, a few of which you’ll find here, on the website. She invites you to share your own poems and stories, if you would like to see them published here! Becky enjoys reading almost as much as writing and you can find reviews of the books she loves (or not) in Becky’s Book Blogs.

She hopes you enjoy the content enough to share your thoughts and looks forward to taking you along on her writer’s journey.
